The subject of this piece may be familiar - it is Mary Stuart (Queen of Scots) as a young woman.  Ingrid was inspired by her great strength and will.  In this work, the viewer is literally seeing through Mary's face and bust.  In a sense we see into her spirit, music, flowers, butterflies, fabrics, an antique watch and winter scenes.  They are fleeting, like memories whispering to us across the centuries.  A Timeless Beauty indeed.

Each image is hand embellished with ink, silk butterflies on metal.  Each is a unique work and will differ somewhat from the image shown.
